Consultancy Services for Western Mediterranean River Basin Master Plan Study

The West Mediterranean Basin Master Plan Study is executed with the participation and contribution of 13th, 18th and 21st Regional Offices of General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works, which are established in Antalya, Isparta and Aydın, respectively. These regions are located in the basin boundaries and General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works coordinates the study.

Services provided by ALTER;

• Collection of data, topographical and geotechnical surveys,
• -Identification of basin boundaries, monitoring flow observation and hydrometeorological stations,
• -Preparation of environmental assessment report,
• -Development of preliminary and final reports for basin hydrology and hydrogeology by considering climate change,
• -Preparation of preliminary and final reports for basin land classifications and drainage,
• -Development of preliminary and final reports for basin water consumption (drinking, potable, irrigational, industrial and commercial, and natural flow etc.),
• -Analysis of agricultural economy in the basin,
• -Preparation of preliminary and final reports for flood and sediment control,
• -GIS Mapping (1/25000 scale) and recommendations for prevention of flood risks and soil erosion,
• -Work progress reports, and Basin Master Plan Study Report.
