Eskişehir Irrigation Refurbishment Project Planning Report

Within the scope of the work, prospective needs of the settlements which meet their drinking, utility and industrial water needs from Porsuk Basin and other developing conditions in the basin will be considered

and suggested high and medium pressured pipe watering system and evocation of hydrologic, tehnical and economical feasibility studies were conducted and studies about energy production to Porsuk Basin.  

With the study, by means of benefiting water of Borsuk dam, Eskisehir Irrigation Network, which is in the establishment which was previously planned in the scope of ‘Porsuk Eskisehir Project Planning Report’ and completed its economic life will be renewed. With the pipe network, the goal is to provide irrigation to 15.188 ha area with sprinkling and trickling methods.

Within the scope of the mentioned work, with the ‘Urban Development, Population Projection and Water Deman Report’, necessary analysis, determination and calculations were made for Eskisehir, Kutahya, Aslanapa and towns, Altintas and towns, Dumlupinar and towns which fulfil their water needs from Porsuk Basin. Moreover, existing population, water resources and consumed water amount were analysed and population, water consumption and required water amount was determined according to 2060 goal year.
