Transportation
Transportation engineering has been one of our main fields of activity since 1985. We have been involved in many tasks for traffic analysis, transport studies, planning and design engineering of roads connecting rural areas, urban transport systems, regional and national highways, railways and airports.
Traffic studies and traffic engineering usually work on large-scale and complex projects. It is inevitable to work in a holistic way with urban and regional development plans. Decision makers need experts on assessment.
In order to improve existing networks, we focus on travel demand management and management of existing business systems before adding new capacities.
Increasing the capacity of existing transport networks through the expansion of roads, the construction of new interchanges and new roads creates improved traffic conditions, resulting in increased demand and congestion. If the transport demand is managed well in terms of time and space and the existing transport capacity can be operated well, the need for additional capacity can be reduced. This would be a much smarter and more cost effective approach. Such conceptual planning can be carried out in close coordination with public opinion research and specialized planners (urban and regional), social scientists, economists and traffic engineers.
